ashley kirk data digital journalistI am a data journalist at The Telegraph, interested in using data to uncover stories and tell them in new ways. I also teach data journalism classes to MA students in my role as a Visiting Lecturer at City University LondonData is a key tool for journalists, helping us to dig into statistics, come up with new ideas and ultimately understand the world. I enjoy doing these things and communicating my findings on multiple platforms. I have written for several publications, including the Guardianthe Independent and City A.M..

Previously, I co-founded Project Ada, a website about the exciting world of women in tech, and helped produce Interhacktives, a site run by those on the MA Interactive Journalism course at City.
