I am a Visual Projects Editor at the Guardian, interested in using data to uncover stories and tell them in innovative, visual ways. I also teach data journalism classes to MA students in my role as a Visiting Lecturer at City University London. Visual journalism is a key part of telling stories, enabling us to think about completely new ways of communicating ideas and stories to readers, ultimately enhancing our understanding of the world. This means that I relish investigating datasets and communicating my findings with different visualisation formats. Previously, I was a Senior Data Journalist at The Telegraph. I have written for several other publications in the past, including the Independent and City A.M.. Before that, I studied the MA in Interactive Journalism at City University London.
